The next public meeting of the Town Hall Delivery Group, due to take place on Monday 16 April, has been cancelled. A new date for this meeting will be made available shortly.

Decision making for the Town Hall project has been a high level exercise driven by elected members.
Originally taken as a report to Policy Board, it was agreed for the future of the Town Hall to be taken to Full Council so that all members could be involved in the decision making process who through the Town Hall journey were given options and details to consider.
The Town Hall Member Steering Group was also set up to oversee, govern and challenge an Officer Working Group.

There has been considerable interest from the public in the Town Hall project since a full review of the Council's future requirements was carried out in 2010. This has resulted in engaging with a wide audience as part of the project to offer the public the chance to give their ideas/comments and opinions.
